Sample Class-Schedule

Here’s a sample class-schedule to give you an idea of what a Happylander partakes in throughout the day:

MORNING

7:45 - 8:40 Greetings – free choice of activities. One to one with the teacher.

8:40 – 8:45 Clean up time

8:45 – 9:00 Circle time – Stories, music, movement, news and Spanish

9:00 – 9:45 Outside activities – sand, water, mud, bikes, puppet shows, parallel bars, jungle gym, climbing equipment, gardening, wood working, easel painting, gak, oublique, hop scotch, basket ball, manipulative toys etc.

9:45 – 9:55 Clean-up Time

9:55 – 10:15 Songs, birthday celebrations, followed by snack.

10:15 – 11:00 Outside back yard. Circle time followed by outside activities.

11:00 – 11:40 Inside time – art & craft, blocks, Spanish, sign language, dress up, puzzles, computers, science, games or music and movement.

11:40 – 11:50 Clean up time

11:55 – 12:15 Lunch

12:15 – 12:30 Bath room – getting ready for nap.

AFTERNOON

2:00 – 2:15 Wake up – bathroom time

2:15 – 2:30 Circle time / Spanish

2:15 – 3:00 Outside activities, sand, water, bubbles, slides, bikes, painting, table toys etc.

3:00 – 3:15 Clean up, bathroom, washing hands etc.

3:15 – 3:45 Snack time – songs etc.

3:45 – 4:00 Circle time – story, songs, Spanish language.

4:00 – 4:45 Inside activities, art, craft, blocks, dress up, science, computers.

4:45 - 5:00 Clean up followed by story time.

5:00 – 5:15 Quiet activities – getting ready to go home.

5:15 School closes. Have a good evening – see you all tomorrow!
