The Future of Happyland

In planning for Happyland’s next 70 years, we have had the opportunity to re-learn Happyland’s three core foundations. We have also had the opportunity to project and vision the myriad of possibilities and pathways for Happyland to evolve in. Part of this trajectory includes continuing Accreditation through NAEYC, Certification in the International Baccalaureate Program, Integrating the ideas and ideals of Paulo Freire to Early Childhood Education, Developing a community based ‘Urban’ or ‘Inner-City’ Program, and harnessing the richness of the global history of education through re-inventing various philosophies, practices, and principles in the education of teachers and children as part of mutual learning communities.
